HVAC System Design

Precision Climate Engineering & Sterile Air Handling.
Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) is the single largest consumer of electrical energy in commercial buildings—accounting for 45% to 60% of recurring monthly power bills. Oversized systems cause short-cycling and humidity buildup, while undersized systems lead to occupant discomfort and equipment breakdown.
Pranam MEP designs thermally optimized, energy-efficient HVAC architectures engineered for Central India's extreme climate variations (from 44°C summer dry-bulb peaks to high monsoon humidity).
Our HVAC Engineering Disciplines
Water-cooled & air-cooled screw/centrifugal chillers, primary-secondary-tertiary pumping loops, and cooling tower hydraulic balancing.
Multi-split variable refrigerant volume systems with independent zone temperature control, heat recovery, and digital central monitoring.
ISO 14644 cleanroom validation, HEPA filtration units, laminar flow diffusers, and positive pressure cascades for pharmaceutical plants.
Computational impulse jet fan ventilation for multi-level basement car parking with CO sensor integration and emergency fire smoke exhaust.

HVAC Engineering FAQs
Answers on cooling sizing, cleanroom validation, and power consumption.
01.How do you calculate cooling loads accurately?+
We utilize dynamic hourly heat-gain modeling compliant with ASHRAE and ISHRAE standards. This takes into account solar orientation, glass U-values, envelope thermal mass, internal equipment heat dissipation, and peak occupant density.
Unlike conventional thumb-rule sizing (which frequently leads to 20–30% oversized compressors and high operational energy bills), our precision engineering ensures peak thermal efficiency with minimal life-cycle operating costs.
02.Do you design cleanrooms for pharmaceutical plants in Pithampur?+
Yes. We design ISO Class 5 to Class 8 pharmaceutical cleanroom ventilation systems, sterile air handling units (AHUs), HEPA filtration cascades, room pressure differentials, and hospital Operation Theatre laminar flow systems.
All designs comply with US FDA, WHO-GMP, and Schedule M statutory guidelines, ensuring seamless regulatory compliance audits.
03.What is the difference between Chilled Water and VRV/VRF systems?+
Central water-cooled chilled water plants provide superior energy efficiency and life-cycle economics for large commercial hubs and hospitals exceeding 150–200 TR capacity. VRV/VRF systems offer modular zone control and lower initial structural weight for corporate offices, luxury villas, and mid-sized hotels.
Pranam MEP conducts an independent techno-commercial life-cycle cost analysis (LCCA) to recommend the optimal cooling architecture for your specific project.
